Panhandle Bulldogs Puppy Policy

Your new puppy comes with a special folder of information which will include current vaccination, de-worming
schedule,veterinary examination,pedigree information and AKC registration.

All of our puppies are guaranteed to be in good physical health of this day of purchase. All necessary shots and
de-wormings have been done. The purchaser agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their
choice within 72 hours for a health check. At this time, please have your vet do any test necessary to determine
that this puppy is healthy and free of any illness or congenital/hereditary life threatening disorders. If there is a
problem with the health of the puppy, Panhandle Bulldogs must be informed immediately of this examination
and all diagnosis,should there be any. Upon presentation of a written diagnoses, our veterinarian will interpret
the report and if the puppy is determined to be unfit for purchase due to illness,disease or congenital disorder,
the cause of which is clearly attributed to the seller,a replacement puppy will be given. There will be NO CASH
OR CREDIT refunds. We offer replacement puppies, of the same sex,breed and equal value(if the dog has
been neutered ,spayed or of limited registration).If you fail to have your puppy checked by a licenced veterinarian
within 72 hours of delivery,we the seller,assume no further responsibility.

Puppies that are shipped are at risk for Coccidia and Kennel Cough which is common in puppies that are
shipped and are usually caused by bacteria. Kennel cough is self limiting and like the common cold, must run
it's course. Full recovery is expected and kennel cough on it's own is not life threatening. So, if you plan to have
your puppy shipped, instead of picking it up, you need to be aware of this.

Panhandle Bulldogs also guarantee our  puppies of LIFE THREATENING congenital/hereditary defects from 1
year from the date of birth. We must be notified immediately at the onset of any LIFE THREATENING
cogenitial/hereditary defect. In writing, with a report from your veterinarian. If the puppy is proven to have  a LIFE
THREATENING defect,we would then offer you a replacement puppy, as stated above,at our first opportunity.
Provided the conditions below are met and kept by the buyer:

  • Shipping/delivery charges to ship back original puppy and obtain a new, are solely the responsibility of
    the purchaser.
  • All vet charges incurred by the purchaser are solely the responsibility of the purchaser and will under no
    circumstances be paid by us.
  • Buyer agrees to provide routine veterinary care of this puppy. Including proper vaccinations,routine worm
    checks,heart worm treatments and have records of such care should buyer have to return a puppy for
    replacement.
  • Buyer understands that contract will be void if buyer fails to provide routine veterinary care,if the puppy is
    sold,transferred,or injured by accident or neglect.
  • This guarantee does not cover common ailments such as worms, vitamin deficiencies,viral bacterial
    diseases,disorders brought on by parasites,allergies,thyroid dysfunctions, demo deictic or red mange,
    hips,cherry eye,Entropion (loose) hips or knees, skin disorders or other autoimmune disorders. I.E.We
    guarantee against LIFE THREATENING defects only.
  • There is no guarantee or warranty that the buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy, regardless of
    show or breed potentials.
  • Panhandle Bulldogs are not responsible for temperament issues, as they can be caused by lack of
    training,discipline, or proper dog socialization which is determined by every dogs personality.
  • Contract is non-transferable.
  • If replacement puppy is given you must return all AKC papers with the puppy and sign the returning
    puppy over to April Hort as the new owner. The replacement puppy will be signed over to you.
  • Buyers understand and agrees that bulldogs are inside dogs and require air-conditioning to prevent
    overheating.
  • The buyer has read this contract, understands fully the contents thereof, and acknowledges receipt of it.

We know that you and your puppy will spend many fun filled years together. If for some reason you can no
longer keep him/her Panhandle Bulldogs is to be notified first and offered puppy back, before placing with
someone else.

We accept a $500.00 non-refundable deposit, that will hold the puppy you pick until ready for placement. The
remaining balance is due before the puppy is 7 weeks old.


A Non-Refundable deposit of $500.00 was made on this day_______________, the puppy will be held until 7
weeks of age, at which time the balance__________ of the purchase price of ______________, must paid in
full. Failure to do so will forfeit deposit and puppy will be placed to next available buyer. Puppy will not be placed
until they are 8 weeks of age!

This said agreement is entered into by Panhandle Bulldogs,Todd and April Hort, referred to as "Breeder" and
______________________________________, referred to as "Buyer" for the sale of  an AKC registered
English bulldog puppy.

Picking up Puppy?   Yes    or    No

Shipping is available at the buyers expense of an additional $400(to lower 48 states)including airline ticket,
crate, food and water containers,transportation from Nebraska to Denver(DIA) and health certificate. Seller will
ship at earliest convenience after puppy is 8 weeks old. Temperature restrictions set by the airlines will not let a
bulldogs to  be shipped in temperatures over 75 degrees.  We will also transport /deliver your puppy up to 400
miles at an expense of .30 cents a mile. ( 400 miles one way = 800 miles round trip =total of $240)

*Panhandle Bulldogs Puppy policy must be signed,dated and mailed to us before puppy is sold or shipped.
Panhandle Bulldogs will then sign and return to the buyer when your puppy is picked up or shipped.
